About Wilson Agaba

I was born in a poor family. When I reached five years old, my mother separated from my father and left me to live with him. My mother was a poor woman and she used to live in a small house! I used to cry with her, when I saw her living in such a poor house, I used to think that one day maybe the animals would come and grab her from that little house.

I faced many challenges during that time. Then I started living with my aunt, and my life was still hard because she used to treat me badly, but I had no option. So I decided to make the best of it by giving her love and taking care of her. Throughout my life I did that, I gave my love even when I was treated badly.

When I reached seven years old, I started visiting my mother, and she started teaching me how to love. She encouraged me to create more friends, she said that the friends will help me in future, and she taught me that love is the only solution in all. I promised my mother that I will teach people about love and I promised her I would create friends as she encouraged me to do.

When I grew up I started seeking for friends on websites, and I met some very good friends who taught a lot about love. One of them, David Truman, became my teacher and helped me so much.

I started teaching love in schools and communities in Uganda, because Uganda is a country which needs love. People are doing selfish things like kidnapping, fighting, stealing. Parents are not responsible to their families etc. If you love someone, that would stop you from being mean to someone.

I used to tell people that love heals; love brings joy, teamwork and compassion. We all need love and we all feel love. People were so happy because all people were thirsty for love. I saw people change because of love.

I always praise my mother for the wonderful work she did for me, to teach me the importance of love.  And I am eternally grateful to David Truman for showing me what true love is, and how to love people well. I now live with good friends, and I am learning more about love everyday.

I believe we are all born in the places we are born because we will intimately know the problems and therefore have the capacity to create the solutions. It’s good to know there are more of us awake to that. Keep posting. I’ll keep reading!

  12. Hi Wilson,
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I was excited when I saw your blog as I love meeting people from all around the world through blogging and I thought: “Wow. I have someone visiting from Africa” but then I read about your hardship and what is going on in Uganda and felt such compassion. I had a friend whose family was bribed out of Uganda when Idi Amin was in power. Keep passing on the love. Through my own health issues and the many struggling people I have met on this journey, I have really appreciated the importance of love and how we need to come together as one world united instead of being broken often by quite trivial division. Go Bless you, mate xx Rowena in Sydney, Australia

    • Thank you so much for being a kind person. Your comment reminds me before I was starting teaching love in Uganda. I used to cry tears when I was seeing people how selfish they are to each other. Love is a solution, which brings togetherness. Together we can help each other in many ways.
      God bless you too.

      • Wilson, we have had some terrible things happen in Australia this week. We like to see ourselves as being immune to the troubles that go on overseas. We tend to be fairly lay back…a bit like our koala bear who seemingly does nothing but eat leaves and sleeps all day.
WE had a terrible siege in Martin Place which I wrote about on my blog . That horrific event, however, has galvanised people and united people from all walks of life. Martin Place is now overflowing with floral tributes. It’s amazing. The father of Tori Johnson who died in the siege went there with leaders of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths to show solidarity. There have been facebook programs to help Muslim women travel safe while wearing their head scarf. That has all been very reaffirming.
However, today, 8 children were murdered in Queensland and it looks like it was the mother of 7 of the children. All of this hate and violence before Christmas and in our country. Australians are going to have to rethink ourselves and find the love.
I really love the work you are doing. We need to keep building bridges across the divisions which are causing hate or just even plain indifference to the experiences of others xx Rowena

      • Rowena, I agree with you. The problem is huge but love can solve it. In Uganda, there are a lot of conflicts going on, but love is the solution for all conflicts. I really appreciate you for the great conversation you shared with me. I really love the work you are doing too. Together we can build bridges across the divisions and bring harmony.

  15. Hi, Wilson. Thanks for visiting and liking my blog. You are an amazing person. Most people who have been abandoned by a parent feel resentful and bitter. it seems God kept you from that and poured all of His love into you (and yet there is plenty more to go around!) So keep writing and loving people. Your love for others is obviously unconditional, just as God’s love is for His children. God bless and Merry Christmas. Praying for you and all of the people of Uganda. We know life can be very hard there.

I judged people I met and my friends too. It hurts our relationships. I encourage you to do this great work of trying to understand this habit. I am working on that too. 33. Hi there!

Just wanted to drop by and say thank you for liking my post the other day! I work really hard on my photography, as well as my writings. Means a lot! I’ve had a rather rough childhood myself. Very abnormal, and disturbing. Things do get better, though. As long as you’re willing to work for the change. But sounds like you know that, and much more already. ::smiles::

Hope you’re having a great day,

  49. Hello, thank you for enjoying my, Fast Track on the TPP. It means Trans Pacific Pact. It may work out fine for others, but it will take more jobs and more of our rights away from Americans. NAFTA was signed by Clinton when he was in office. Millions of jobs were taken away because of that plan. And Republicans have put limits on our voting rights. They claim people were cheating, but that was hardly the problem. It’s harder for the disabled and older people to vote because of other limits. Republicans want to privatize Social Security and the Post Office. They want to get rid of the EPA which stands for Environmental Protection Agency. Without that agency our food and air will be more dangerous. Now, there are Democrats who are just as evil and greedy as Republicans. Some Americans know these things, the others are blinded to the fact.

Black people have been in trouble ever since we were brought here. Africa once had kingdoms all over the continent. But many of the people have arrived. They’re not all ill with diseases, they’re not all poor. Colonialism, Marxism, and other bad influences have almost destroyed Africa. We (black Americans) aren’t ashamed of the mother land because we have seen queens and kings there, we’ve seen how beautiful and rich the land still is.

But I’m sorry if this is too long, but it was necessary to explain some things. You seem to have a nice blog. Please visit my blog more often and I will do the same. Take care now.

    • Thank you so much for the all details about this problem. All of the problems you described are caused by greed, and all will be solved when we love each other. I started the mission of love with a purpose of bringing togetherness in this world! Because people are hurting each other, and they forget that we are all children of God. When everyone knows that we are all children of God, people will not be having these kinds of problems.
